Losing weight and sticking to a routine during a pandemic

At the start of the pandemic, everything changed including losing weight!

All workouts were at home. Even though we handed out equipment, we no longer had the luxury of being able to choose whatever piece of equipment and go up in weight if we needed it.

My eating got all of whack reaching for food because the kitchen was right there….literally right there.

My sleeping patterns got off. I found that I was staying up later and later and for no good reason while still waking up at the same time.

I also had in the back of my mind that I would just reset when we started Amazing12. I gave myself grace and a little too much of it.

Fast forward to July when we started A12. I was super excited but also anxious to get back into the studio with people…real live people!

We started in right away (check out my weekly blog posts below throughout my entire journey) and 12 week later I saw so many changes in my body!

I lost a total of 7lbs, my arms are ripped! LOL. My stomach is flat and no longer bloated. My sugar cravings are all but gone and I am eating WAY more veggies.

It’s truly amazing the results I achieved in just 12 weeks. Seriously! And looking back, I never once thought, I really don’t want to workout today or I can’t do this. It is all sustainable and I never felt burnt out.

The best thing during this pandemic and doing this program is that it gave me time to focus on me. I don’t remember the last time I’ve been able to do my own training program. COVID has caused me to slow down and with not having the social situations and temptations of drinking and eating a lot of fried food I was able to do this pretty easily. I can’t say I was perfect, because I was far from it on the nutrition side but everything in moderation and I still achieved results that I am happy with.
