Personal coaching. Real community.

Receive a personalized program built for your body, designed to help you get stronger so you are never held back by injury or aging again.

Coach instructing members during a semi-private personal training session at Studio ME Fitness in Northeast Minneapolis, each working on their own custom strength program.

Expert coaching. A group that pushes you.

Semi-private training keeps everything that matters about personal coaching: a program built for your body, a coach who knows your program and tracks your progress, and progression that's deliberate. You train alongside a small group of people, each working their own program, all coached by someone who knows you by name.

Every semi-private member starts with the full ME Method. A movement assessment maps your patterns, limitations, and capacity. Your coach builds your program from the results and tracks every session — so when you show up, your coach already knows where you left off and exactly what's next. Learn more about the ME Method →

It's not a class. Nobody is leading you through a workout. You show up, your program is ready, and your coach cues you through each lift. The members tell us it's the community that keeps them consistent and the coaching that keeps them progressing year after year.

What every semi-private member gets.

Your own ME Method program

Every member starts with a movement assessment. Your coach builds your program from the data and tracks every session. You and your training partners are each on something different — designed for your body, your goals, your progression.

A coach who knows you

Up to 6 members per coach. Small enough that your form gets corrected, your program stays current, and your coach always knows exactly where you are.

Consistency built in

Most members book a recurring time slot and train with the same small group week after week. The community that forms is one of the reasons people stay for years.

Real, trackable progress

Your coach manages every progression. Lifts go up on purpose. Plateaus get addressed before they become patterns. You can see exactly how far you have come.

In their words

A community of people who train smart.

My wife and I wanted to be more active so we joined Studio Me about six weeks ago. We've both really enjoyed the group training classes. They are challenging but we're also encouraged to be aware of our capacity. Doing the workout with other people makes it fun as well. Studio…

Semi-private FAQ

Still have a question? Reach out. We usually reply the same day.

How is semi-private different from a group fitness class?

In a group class, everyone does the same workout. In semi-private, every person has their own custom program designed for their goals and body. Your coach moves between members, cueing each person individually. It is personal training that happens to share a floor.

What is the ME Method and how does it apply here?

Every semi-private member goes through a movement assessment before they train. Your coach maps your mobility, stability, and movement patterns, then builds a program from what it finds. Sessions are tracked so progression is deliberate and nothing is guesswork. Read more about the ME Method →

Who will I train with?

We match training pods based on schedule, experience level, and fit where possible. Many members end up training with the same one or two people for years. The relationships that form are one of the things people mention most in our reviews.

How does semi-private compare to private training?

Semi-private is private training in a group setting — up to 6 members, each on their own custom program, with one coach. You get the full ME Method: movement assessment, personalized programming, and tracking. Private training means one coach on you alone for the entire session. Both are excellent. Semi-private gives you the same personalized approach at a lower cost, plus the energy of training alongside people who know you.

Can I combine semi-private with private sessions?

Yes. Some members add a private session for high-focus work or when tackling something complex, and use semi-private for their regular training volume. Your coach will help you figure out the right mix.
