Recovery Partner

Expert PT, right where you train.

Studio ME partners with Dr. Logan Kovacs of Motion Forward Physical Therapy for on-site board-certified orthopedic care, so rehab and training work together instead of competing.

Strength coaching and PT under one roof.

Most people finish physical therapy and then start personal training. Two separate tracks, with a gap in between. At Studio ME, those tracks overlap. Dr. Logan works on-site alongside our coaches, which means real-time communication between your PT and your training program.

When a coach notices a compensating movement pattern, they can refer you directly. When Dr. Logan clears you for a new range of motion or load, your coach knows that day. There's no lost context, no starting over, no choosing between recovering and training.

This is movement-based care. You stay active and keep working toward your goals instead of sitting on the couch waiting to feel better.

When integrated care makes the difference.

Post-surgical rehab

Coordinated transition from clinical rehab back to full strength training, so nothing falls through the gap between "cleared" and actually being ready.

Persistent aches

That nagging shoulder or knee that coaching alone hasn't fixed. Dr. Logan gets to the root of it while keeping you active.

Movement optimization

Subtle imbalances and compensations that get in the way of progress or quietly set up future injuries. Better to catch them early.

Maintenance care

Strategic recovery support for adults who plan to keep training for decades. Prevention, not just treatment.

Recovery & PT FAQ

Still have a question? Reach out. We usually reply the same day.

How is physical therapy at Studio ME different from a typical PT clinic?

Dr. Logan works on-site alongside our coaches, so your therapist and trainer talk every day about your progress. When your PT clears you for a new movement, your coach knows immediately. When a coach spots a compensating pattern, they can refer you directly to Dr. Logan. You don't have to choose between recovering and training.

Can I do strength training while I'm in physical therapy?

Yes. That's the whole point. Instead of waiting until PT is done to start training, you work with both Dr. Logan and a coach at the same time. Your training program adjusts as you heal, so you stay active and keep progressing toward your goals.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to start?

We recommend speaking with your primary care doctor first, especially if you're dealing with an injury or pain. If you already have a referral to physical therapy, bring it with you. Contact us to discuss your situation and we'll guide you through the next steps.

What types of sessions are available?

We offer private one-on-one coaching, semi-private training, and small group classes, all built around longevity and sustainable movement patterns. Your coach and Dr. Logan will recommend the best format for your needs and goals.
