Trainers - Studio ME Fitness

Megan, owner of Studio ME, is an exercise and wellness enthusiast.  She was a tri-sport athlete in high school winning the Athena award and continued her passion for sports into college by playing D2 tennis at Winona State University. After graduating college she really missed the team camaraderie so she joined a big-box gym but hated every second she was there. That’s when she found group fitness.  She started teaching cardio and strength classes, boot camps and TRX shortly after.   After some time of teaching at a small studio in Minneapolis, she decided it was time to do this on her own and along came Studio ME.  She is excited to share her enthusiasm for fitness and overall well being. You will find that her classes are fun, upbeat, and always different.  She modifies all classes to meet everyone’s needs, whether you are new to the group fitness scene or an elite athlete. Can’t wait to see you at the studio!

Erin has been active her entire life both in competitive sports and everyday life.  She started playing competitive tennis at age 10 and went on to play Division I tennis for Gonzaga University.  After graduating college, she taught group tennis lessons for 3 years then moved into the corporate world.  After nearly 4 years working in an office setting, Erin decided it was time to get back into the fitness scene, and along came Studio ME.  Erin can’t wait to share her passion for staying active and healthy in everyday life and incorporating that passion into her group fitness classes.

Siri is a long time lover of nature, song and spirit. When she’s not practicing on her yoga mat or Thai futon, you can find Siri riding her bike, hiking through the many woods of MN and beyond, accompanying for and singing in the Twin Cities choir One Voice Mixed Chorus and enjoying family and friends. She is a graduate of both Devanadi Yoga’s 235hr program and 500hr Advanced Teacher Training programs as well as the 300 hour Thai Yoga Bodywork program. She has studied in Thailand with Master Pichest Boonthume and looks forward to going back to continue her studies. She is a sought-after therapist in Devanadi’s studio and also has begun to teach Thai to future Thai therapists. Siri is grateful for the opportunity to share her passion for well-being and healing at Studio ME and cannot wait to spread the light.

Christina is a fitness and athletic junkie!  She grew up playing every sport she could get her hands on and went on to play D2 soccer at UMD.  Her main passions now are various athletic events (half marathons, duathlons, Ragnar, mud runs), yoga, paddle boarding and snowboarding.  She completed Life Time Academy’s Group Fitness program because she wanted to surround herself with healthy, like-minded people and have a blast in the process!  She is beyond thankful and excited for the opportunity to become more involved with the start of Studio ME!

Jen has always been a sports and fitness enthusiast.  She played volleyball and softball throughout college enjoying the competitive side of fitness and camaraderie.  Jen enjoys obstacles races and duathlons which led her to wanting to teach fitness classes.  With a background as a Physical Therapist Assistant she focuses on body awareness and technique in each of her classes. You will find Jen teaching Yoga, TRX, Indo-Row, Row and Flow and Pilate’s.

Liz has taught in a variety of locations, studios and settings to people of all backgrounds, fitness levels, and body types. She holds her 230 hour Vinyasa Yoga training certification and her Spin certification, and has taught yoga, yoga fitness, spin, barre, and TRX . Liz graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2013 with a BA in Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature, and is currently back in school completing prerequisites to apply for a Doctorate program in Physical Therapy.

Liz wasn’t one of those kids who grew up playing sports – she actually didn’t discover her love of movement and fitness until college. She started practicing yoga regularly to help with her anxiety and loved the mindfulness and self compassion it promoted and inspired. Her passion for yoga grew into a curiosity and interest in the mind, body and the link between physical and mental strength, endurance and understanding. She loves helping her students to succeed and challenging them by being the toughest teacher around!

When she’s not on the mat, Liz spends time with her dog Buffy. She loves Netflix marathons, patios in the summer, hibernating in the winter, and white wine because red wine makes her sleepy.

After moving back from college Danielle found her passion for fitness. For several years Danielle was a group fitness participant and was inspired to become a group fitness instructor herself. In September 2014, Danielle completed her first group fitness certification. Danielle has a passion to help every type of participant, from someone starting their journey to someone that has been doing it for years. When Danielle is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her other interests are running, biking and playing volleyball.  She is very excited to become a part of Studio ME.
